What happened to our transactions page? 

Fifteen years ago a business owner could sell his/her company and quietly blend back into his/her everyday life if he or she chose.  Today the announcement of a closed transaction lumps that business owner into the same group of those lucky enough to win the lottery.   Solicitations may arrive from long lost distant relatives, but  its more likely to be from stock brokers, financial planners, insurance salesmen and even a luxury car salesman.  With readily available bots and scraping tools, m&a firms and business broker websites can be routinely scanned for new announcements.
