Before joining iMerge Advisors, Sandy Goldman created and managed all Internet activities for National Grant Conferences and The Trump Institute Education Seminars. Prior to this he consulted with several start-up companies, SmartVideo specializing in video streaming to cell phones which subsequently went public and Pix.com which was bought out by a larger photo website. At SkyMall, the world’s largest in-flight magazine he was responsible for marketing that motivated buyers to order via the Internet vs. the phone, eventually accounting for over 50% of all orders. He also launched the first TV-to-PC data download service which was licensed by Microsoft for Windows 98. In 1996 he launched the first Internet and AOL online grocery service with over $20 million in venture capital. In 1991 he created and launched the first live television service at grocery store checkouts for Turner Broadcasting System. In addition he helped launch CNN Airport Network seen at gates in all major U.S. airports.
